Claims Associate

The qualified claims professional will provide a broad range of claims handling, audit and advisory services in the area of claims management. Ideal candidate will possess bachelor’s degree; ARe designation; outstanding communication, problem-solving and project management skills; five years of general casualty claims experience. Familiarity with other lines, such as professional liability, accident and health, general, product and automobile liability and workers’ compensation is desirable, as is experience with asbestos and/or environmental claims. Consulting experience or a Juris Doctor degree preferred but not mandatory. Must be proficient with computer word processing and spreadsheet programs and interact effectively as part of a team of professionals. Based in Santa Ana, California, or Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, the position requires occasional travel to complete off-site audits and projects within the U.S. and abroad.

Reinsurance Accounting

Must have three to five years of industry experience and be familiar with treaty reinsurance, contract wording, treaty processing and analysis, collections and settlements to brokers. Excellent knowledge of spreadsheet applications (MS Excel) and strong organizational skills required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
